Definitions

One-paragraph definition of each product

What is Guardivia Operator SMSC?

Guardivia Operator SMSC is a software-only, carrier-grade Short Message Service Centre that switches, stores and delivers SMS for mobile network operators, MVNOs, MVNEs, IoT providers and telecom messaging providers. It terminates operator signaling natively over SS7/MAP and SIGTRAN, connects applications over SMPP and HTTP, and delivers SMS over SIP/IMS, all from one platform running on standard server hardware.

What is Guardivia Core Network Suite?

Guardivia Core Network Suite is a modular set of core-network software products covering subscriber management (HLR/HSS/UDM), SS7/SIGTRAN signaling and STP, CAMEL-based service control, USSD services, IMS-to-SMS interworking (IP-SM-GW), Diameter routing (DRA) and roaming. Modules deploy independently or together for MNOs, MVNOs, MVNEs and private LTE/5G networks. The Guardivia Operator SMSC is one integrated component of this suite, not the suite itself.

What is Guardivia SMS Signaling and ESME Gateway Firewall?

Guardivia SMS Signaling and ESME Gateway Firewall is a carrier-grade SMS security, traffic-control, fraud-prevention and A2P monetization platform. It inspects SS7/SIGTRAN SMS signaling (MO, MT and AT) and SMPP/ESME application traffic through one coordinated policy and inspection environment, correlating signaling metadata and message content before delivery. It is built for MNOs, MVNOs, MVNEs, interconnect and signaling hubs, SMS aggregators and private mobile networks.

What is Guardivia Enterprise SMPP SMSC Gateway?

Guardivia Enterprise SMPP SMSC Gateway is a multi-tenant SMPP messaging platform that manages ESME customer accounts, routes their traffic across multiple upstream SMSC connections, optimises delivery, enforces delivery receipts, resends failed traffic and applies an embedded ESME firewall. It serves SMS aggregators, CPaaS providers, MVNOs, enterprises, banks, fintechs, government messaging platforms, bulk providers, OTT and application providers and resellers. It is an SMPP and application messaging platform, not a native SS7 operator SMSC.

What is Guardivia FlashCall and Voice Fraud Solution?

Guardivia FlashCall and Voice Fraud Solution is a voice-channel fraud-intelligence and revenue-protection platform. It ingests CDRs and, where supported, SIP and signaling data to detect FlashCall authentication traffic, Robocall abuse, Wangiri campaigns, missed-call fraud and abnormal automated calling behaviour. It classifies and scores suspicious traffic and supports enforcement through Guardivia's voice-security component or an integrated third-party voice firewall.

What is Guardivia Honeypot SMS Testing and Route Assurance?

Guardivia Honeypot SMS Testing and Route Assurance is an active, device-based SMS testing and fraud-detection platform. It uses trap mobile numbers on real SIM cards in dedicated devices running Guardivia's testing application, controlled SMS-generation campaigns, central orchestration and analytics, and live operator-network observations to verify how SMS traffic is actually delivered and whether a route is legitimate, direct, manipulated, bypassed or fraudulent. It also captures unsolicited SMS on trap numbers for threat intelligence.

How they combine

Typical combinations

Operator stack

Operator SMSC + SMS Firewall + Core Network Suite modules, with Honeypot Testing to validate partner routes and the FlashCall Solution for voice fraud.

Aggregator stack

Enterprise SMPP SMSC Gateway + Honeypot Testing for supplier route audits; SMS Firewall policies on customer binds.

MVNO stack

Start with the Operator SMSC, add the Enterprise Gateway and Firewall, then HLR/HSS/UDM, STP, CAMEL, USSD, IP-SM-GW, Diameter/DRA and Roaming.

FAQ

Comparison questions

What is the difference between the Operator SMSC and the Enterprise SMPP SMSC Gateway?

The Operator SMSC terminates SS7/MAP, SIGTRAN and IMS signaling and delivers to subscribers; the Enterprise SMPP SMSC Gateway manages SMPP customer accounts and routes their traffic to upstream SMSCs. Operators deploy the SMSC; aggregators and enterprises deploy the gateway; MVNOs often deploy both.

Is the Core Network Suite an SMSC?

No. The Core Network Suite is a portfolio of HLR/HSS/UDM, STP, CAMEL, USSD, IP-SM-GW, Diameter/DRA and roaming modules. The Operator SMSC is a separate product that integrates with it.

Does the SMS Firewall cover SMPP as well as SS7?

Yes. Hawk handles SS7/SIGTRAN SMS signaling; Dolphin and Shark handle SMPP/ESME inspection. Both feed one policy environment.

Does the FlashCall Solution block calls?

It detects and classifies; blocking is executed through Guardivia's voice-security component or an integrated third-party voice firewall where supported.

Is Honeypot SMS Testing a web-form honeypot?

No. It is a telecom platform using trap numbers, real SIMs and dedicated devices on live networks.
